Finally Graphisoft decided to set up a central GDL exchange on their own site. Now I only hope it doesn’t stagnate due to lack of contributions – as have many others over time.

CAD Corner
This site wants to be “For Everything AutoCAD”. Includes AutoCAD blocks (version 2006) tutorials, LISP routines, shx fonts and hatches. There’s also a forum for discussion and, possibly trouble-shooting. Time will tell if this site strikes a chord with users or if it’ll die away like many others before it.
Free Downloads from Accustudio
This site has texture libraries, LISP routines and and a large number of 3D objects in AutoCAD, nXt, Rhino and Revit formats (look in the “exchange” section).
Lammhults GDL objects
Another enlightened (another Swedish) furniture manufacturer. Gives you the option to download ArchiCAD objects or AutoCAD blocks.
Skandiform Furniture & GDL objects
This is the most enlightened manufacturer I’ve come across so far. The interface is clean and friendly and the site easily serves both, the retail customer as well as the architect. Click on the English flag if you don’t know Swedish.

Go to the Architects » CAD Data section of the site and, if you want to download the entire set, scroll down towards the bottom. Alternatively, you can look at each one individually.
Winhard GDL Objects
About 23 objects as of date and the promise of more. They have an English page but with a lot less stuff on it. I don’t think a translation is needed though.

Cad Resource
This is a collection of almost everything for the Cad user – SHX fonts, hatches, LISP routines and Blocks. There’s even an old collection of drivers in case you have some old equipment lying around.
